Applications are processed quarterly by our Application Board. The Firefighter Board meets on the third Monday of January, April, July, and October. After the meeting you will recive an email about your application status.

Fire suppression services in Cole County started over 40 years ago with only a single truck and a handful of personnel. Today the Cole County Fire Protection District proudly serves the community with over 50 personnel operating out of eight stations with over 30 trucks. Our service area covers 220 square miles and includes the communities of Brazito, Eugene, Henley, Mary's Home, and St. Thomas.
